Being a Missionary is the Best!! :D

Hiiii:D
I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures lol Mississippi, it is super green and it gets prettier everyday, I have more pictures for you and they're better than the ones from last week.
Thank you and happy early mothers day!! The in people in Mississippi are great and say some really funny things lol One of the ladies in our ward got baptized a week before I got here, but I was able to be there for her comfirmation. Her name is Judith and she's super funny. A couple of weeks ago her cat had babies and we got to see them when we visited her. The next day we saw her again and also saw the kittens. When we saw them the kittens looked super stiff and weren't moving.  Me and Sister Moffett looked at each (pretty confident that they were dead) I asked if I could poke them to see if they were still alive. When we said they were dead Judith looked so surprised lol And then she just said "well I don't care" I promise Judith isn't a horrible person, just the way she said it and how surprised she was made it really funny:) lol She also told us she'd asked one of the members if they wanted a kitten.
Judith>  "Good thing they said no"
Sis Moffett> "Can you imagine, here's a dead kitten"
Random member> "Judith, it ain't moving"
Judith>  "Well it was yesterday"
We literally laughed for 15 minutes, that sounds really horrible but Judith was being really funny and so was Sister Moffett lol
Judith lives really close to our apartment so on the way to church we stopped by her house and asked for a ride to church because we were running low on miles. On the way out the door I fell, and she and Sister Moffett just went off laughing. Judith had to sit down because she was laughing so hard:D lol When we got in the car they were still laughing and every time she started it she stopped it because we started laughing again. It was a great day:D Every time we go over there we can guarantee laughing:)
One of the things we try really hard to do is invite people to church, everyone we meet we invite to church and since I've gotten here it's only happened twice. Yesterday on the way to church we were stopping by investigators houses and inviting them to church but no one was answering their doors. When we got to church we started talking to people but sadly we didn't see any of our investigators come in. During the opening song (we sit in the back row) Tim, his daughter, and niece come in. They're one of the families we shared a scripture with but haven't seen in a few weeks, and one of the last families I would have expected. When we saw them and waved to them I was so happy!:D It was so great to see them there, plus they stayed for all three hours and enjoyed it!! I asked Tim if he liked it but it's hard to understand him because he doesn't have a tongue..........I'm not lying he really doesn't have a tongue.  He also doesn't have........one eye. He wears a eye patch and has a beard, he looks a little like a pirate :D Tim is super nice and his daughter and niece loved church, the girls are super cute and really want to come back. When they came to church, it made my day, I really hope they come back next week.

Its been a great week and being a missionary is the best!!:D Wish i was a faster typer so i could write more or we had two P-days, there's so much to do. But I have pics so hopefully that will make my emails more exciting lol. tell Whitney and Jordan that i'm sorry that i haven't been able to write them back and that i try really hard next week!! Also i need everyone's address so I can write them if I want to, thanks mom!:D<3

Love Sister Keables!:D<3<3
P.S. Almost forgot to tell you, one of the members in the ward has a pet flying squirrel! (The B family) They let me hold it and it was really cute! lol

Missionary Work is the Greatest!

Hello Padre!

I told you to write me, and I love hearing from you :D Thanks for sharing your story about what happened at work, its not surprising to me that someone followed your example. And you’re just the greatest person in the world! Lol :D

To Mom, We actually have a car so I won't need a bike or helmet for at least four or five months! (Yay!!! lol)

Wow, I didn't know Ryan was that good! Tell him that I'm proud of him and that I wish him luck in his future (high) jumps! Also tell Ryan I’m counting down to his birthday and that I hope he has a great b-day! Wish I could be there to give him a hug and wish him the best birthday ever!! :D

You know how people in Chico say, “have a great day or a wonderful day”? Well, here people like to say “have a blessed day” instead of what we say. I was really hoping my companion would have an accent, she doesn't but I don't really care that much. Also she's my same age and shorter than me :D She's really funny though and a great missionary!

Saturday we were gone all day so we missed two packages for me and one for Sister Moffett, so we went to the post office and I was able to open them. Tell Mom thank you for me!!! And I loved her letter! Guess what mom told me in her letter? :) You got an Ipad from the whole family!! When I read that I literally said out loud, "No way!" Sister Moffett was sitting right next to me and asked why I was so surprised lol And she told me that you got a big bag of nuts, I bet your happy I’m not there to eat them :D lol I hope you had a blessed day;) (see what I did there lol)  And know that you’re the best dad ever!!

Last week we met this girl named Morgan, and a couple of days ago we taught her the Restoration.  The lesson went really well, and by the end we asked her to get baptized and she said yes!!!!(Missionary work is the greatest! lol)  We planned it out so it went back and forth, and one of my parts was talking about Joseph Smith. Every time I bear my testimony or talk about something I strongly know is true, I started to cry (I blame you, Dad! lol jk). I said something along the lines of "I am so grateful for Joseph Smith, because of what he did I was able to be raised in this wonderful gospel. He has changed my life and I will always be eternally grateful for him. I know he saw the Father and Christ, not a single part of me doubts it. I know that if it had been a lie, like many people said, then it would not have blessed my life so much."  I said more, but I don't remember it that well lol
It was an amazing experience and the Spirit was very strong as we tried to teach by it. Love missionary work, sharing the most incredible part of my life with everyone! (The Gospel of Jesus Christ)
Love you Mom and Dad!!! And thanks for being awesome parents!! :D

Love Sister Keables!!:)
