The Savior's Love and His Atonement has No Boundaries...

March 28, 2016

Hi Ya'll!

How was ya'll's Easter? Did ya'll enjoy the women's broadcast? It was so good! Church was great, as always:D I don't think we remembered to tell ya'll but they asked us and the other missionaries in the ward to sing "This is the Christ" and yesterday we sang it to the ward. I've decided that I don't like singing parts, it's a LOT harder. The ward seemed to like it, which was good because we weren't able to practice a whole lot:D Also thank you for the packages! Also tell Dad I say HAPPY BIRTHDAY AND THAT I LOVE HIM!!:D

Saturday our ward had a Easter egg hunt for the kids in the ward and our investigator came! (Rae) They seemed to really enjoy it, and their kids loved it! Now we just have to get them to a church service! After the activity, we showed them around the building, but it was hard to make it a spiritual experience though because there were still kids running around. We're hoping to do another church tour but this time have it be just us and Rae, that way she won't be distracted by her kids or any other kids. We had a lesson with her Sunday and the Spirit taught the whole time. We talked about her desires to find out for herself and how she had to make that decision. Rae really opened up to us and we were able to learn why she still hasn't come to church. We told her in order for us to keep seeing her she had to do her part. We asked her a lot of questions trying to understand where she was coming from and why she even wanted to know if the things we were teaching her are true. I think she understands now that it's up to her, and we can't receive her answer for her. Anyways, that's how Rae is doing:D

Well I have to go, but before I do, I just want to say that I love my Savior and am so grateful for everything he's done for me! Because of him we all can be resurrected and live with our families forever. He has felt our burdens, our sorrows, our afflictions, grief's and so much more. He's felt what its like to be discouraged, homesick, scared, and because of that he knows exactly how to succor us. I've learned that the world and Satan are constantly telling us to give up. But Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ whisper to us try one more time. The Savior offers us joy, peace, comfort, strength, and the courage to press forward. He is there to love us and help us in no matter form that may come. Sometimes even a day can feel like forever and can be hard but as we turn to our Savior, we will feel his love and the Spirit will warm our hearts and we will triumph. No trial, no sin, no challenge is too hard or to deep for Jesus Christ to heal us and help us. The Savior's love and his Atonement has no boundaries. His love is eternal, everlasting, infinite, and very real. And there aren't words to describe how grateful I am to have him in my live and how much I love him. He is everything to me and my mission has changed me for the best. I love ya'll so much and am beyond grateful for my family/friends and all ya'll have done for me in my life! Love ya'll and have a great week! #HeIsRisen

I Sent A TON of Pictures!

March 21, 2016

Hi Ya'll!

So I sent a TON of pictures, and I hope ya'll enjoy! So I might not send a whole bunch the next few weeks because that should cover me for about a month right?.... jk
I hope ya'll are doing swell and of course going out with the missionaries:D I think we're pretty cool people, I mean we might be a little weird:D But not a whole lot.

Ok so I don't' have too many funny stories to share or spiritual, but see if I can come up with anything:D
So this week we went to Mendenhall, like we normally do, but this time Sister Cothern had to babysit in the morning so we had to walk everywhere. We had planned that morning to see Sister Hutcherson who is a less active that lives in a nursing home, and she doesn't live too far from Sister Cothern, it's about a mile and a half.  And because we only in Mendenhall once a week and we're in her car, we don't have a clue how to get around Mendenhall. I'm sure ya'll can imagine where this is going... And if ya'll know me, then you know it's very easy to confuse me, and I'm awful with directions. So Sister Cothern then proceeded to give me directions on how to get to the nursing home from their house. I kinda just nodded my head like I knew exactly what streets she was talking about. And at first I was somewhat confident that we could get there by trying to follow her directions. But after awhile things were looking less and less familiar to me......:D  and after a while we decided to ask someone for directions.  We realized after talking to this man about how to get to the nursing home we walked a mile in half in the opposite direction. We did eventually get to the nursing home lol In all that morning we walked 3 miles and our legs felt like jello :D

A few days ago we saw Rae, one of our main investigators and we talked about repentance. It was a really good lesson, and she really opened up to us and the Spirit was very strong. After the lesson we asked how she felt and she told us that she felt at peace and happy. I love Rae, she's progressing a little at a time but that's ok. I think Heavenly Father is trying to teach me patience and a few other things:D

Last Tuesday we were tracting and we had a cool experience! But I have to do a little back track. So last transfer me and Sister Williams tracted this same street and met this really cute couple named Emily and Daniel. We taught them the Restoration and they were very open. We set a return appointment and were really excited to go back and see them. A few days later Emily texted us and said they had to cancel because something had come up. So this is where the cool experience happened:D Me and Sister Mellor had been tracting for about 30 minutes and no one had been interested or they hadn't answered. So it was my turn to do our little speech,  and this guy opened the door and he looked really familiar to me. And I said that to his face, after about 30 seconds I'm like, "Daniel?!" I can't remember exactly what he said but he still remembered me. We talked to him for a while then his wife pulled up and we talked to her for about 30 minutes to an hour. We found out that they're both still very open and interested in learning more. And Emily told us that she was sad and disappointed that we never got back to her, and that she had been looking forward to us coming back. We set a return appointment, and she seemed really excited!:D I'm pumped to see them again!

Anyways I got to go but love ya'll and have a amazing day!:D

Love,
Sister Keables
